The Great West Coast Craic's mission is to showcase the vitality and innovative spirit of traditional Irish and Scottish music by presenting bands who endeavor to bring to Celtic music a modern sound, without losing the fundamentals of the tradition. Craic attempts to demonstrate the different threads of modern music that have borrowed from the Celtic tradition of melody, dance, and instrumentation by bringing together the best bands of their particular brands of modern Celtic Roots music.
