March 15, 2010 Four incredible bands took the stage in 2010 and showed the audience what West Coast Celtic rock was all about. In 2011, we are looking to do it all over again. If your Celtic rock band is from British Columbia, Washington, Oregon or California and you would like to be considered for the 2011 show, please CONTACT US. Are you an individual who would like to volunteer their time to help the 2011 Great West Coast Craic? We would love to have your help as there is SO much work that goes into organizing a show this big. Please stay tuned as we may be solicating help around December of 2010. Do you own a business that would cater to this genre? Would you like to have a booth at the 2011 Great West Coast Craic? Stay tuned as we will be accepting applications for vendors in late 2010. THANK YOU! March 7, 2009 THANK YOU to everyone who came out to the 2010 Great West Coast Craic - Celtic rock experience! THANK YOU to all the bands & ancers who took part in the event and to the D&R Theatre for hosting the event. The entire evening went off without a hitch and if you speak to anyone who puts together large shows with multiple bands, that rarely happens. This event was a year in the making. Tons of preparation, planning, and research. We knew what we wanted to accomplish and it would have never been possible without the help of Bill Gibbons of Galway Bay Irish Pub and the 8th St Ale House. Your belief in the event and your help is what made this show possible. We know all of you who came liked Celtic rock music. Mostly of you knew one or two of the bands before and our goal was to introduce you to more bands which we felt you would like. We enjoyed from you during the show that you had never heard such-and-such band and how much you loved them. That is great. That was our goal. A side effect of the show was some of the bands had never heard the other bands perform live. This was a wonderful chance for all of us in the bands to finally meet one another. We fully expect to hold a 2011 Great West Coast Craic - Celtic rock experience and we will be right here with information at that time. Again, thank you from all of us at the Great West Coast Craic.
